Wish, Explanation of:

A wish is the most powerful form of energy in the game. There is no avoidance-roll, nor does magic-resistance cut the power of a Wish. It is the ultimate power, sought by many in this world. When a Wish is found and used, the person who evokes it must battle it to be granted the right to benefit from it. For a Wish is not mindless. A Wish is an entity of pure Essence; a power that comes from all of nature and time. It is independent of all magic, yet is classified as magic.
When a person invokes a Wish, it will fight, attempting to thwart the one who is attempting to use it. A simple Wish will be met with simple resistance. A grand Wish will be met with powerful resistance. This resistance will come in the form of a creature attacking the one who has invoked the Wish (usually), though this is completely up to the discretion of the G.M.
The one who makes a Wish will be taken away to what is known as the Wish Plane; an oval, mushroom-like, flat, pedestal measuring 60 spaces in length, 30 across. Once there, the Wish will create its resistance, in the form of a beast, or a challenging test, equalling the power of the Wish desired. The one who has attempted to harness this great power must be victorious, or defeat will occur, and the Wish will be wasted.

During the battle, or test, as a person attempts to win over the power, if he or she does not wish to continue, he or she must renounce the fight against the Wish (verbally or mentally). The instant this is done, the Wish will return that person to his or her realm, in the exact place he or she was taken. No time passes in other realms while a Wish is fought for.
If a person is victorious against the resistance of the Wish, he or she will be granted his or her desire, fully reaping the benefit of his or her yearning.

Note:

If a person wishes another to be killed, the Wish will always make the one invoking the Wish fight against the target of the Wish's power. The Wish will pit him or her against the one he or she wishes to be slain. This person will actually be taken into the Wish Plane to fight the one who has wished death upon him or her.

G.M.
If multiple wishes are wished for, the Wish itself will become embodied and attack. If this happens throw a Dark Herlad at that person. Strikes will not kill the character, but every time he or she is struck (whether in the armor or not), that character must make a successful avoidance-roll vs. “Magic" or be banished to the Abyss (as well, all items will be stripped from that person as well). Only one who can Plane Travel can escape from the Abyss.

The Dark Herald is not actually the encounter that will come up against the one who wishes for multiple wishes. The Dark Herald is a very powerful encounter, and so I would use it (not its abilities) due to its high stats and low rolls to hit another creature. You can use just about any creature in this game and change it to match what you want it to do. It makes it more simple this way. Just be creative.
